Akudama will open the festival as newcomers!

Akudama is a four-piece metalcore band from Basel, Switzerland, offering a hard-hitting blend of 2000s metalcore nostalgia with modern elements.

Formed in 2024, Akudama made their live debut at the first Corebound event, sharing the stage with I Cut Out Your Name, Sons of Coherence and Before the Decay. While their first releases are still in the works, their energetic performances and dynamic sound have already made an impression.

With more shows on the horizon and plans for a debut album, Akudama are well on their way to carving out their place in the heavy music scene.

Their first single, ‘You're My Disease,’ was released on 12 September 2025.
